Cover Photo Location

The Corridors

The corridors would make a good background for the cover photo as it emphasises the school aspect of the magazine however, it's very plain and simple and won't give much focus as the cover picture. Furthermore there are some bins in the foreground which will have a massive effect on the photo. The carpet reflects on out main school colour. Moreover, I will need to time when I will take the photo as this corridor is very busy at times especially when students change classes.

Reception

The reception would be a good cover photo as it shows the amazing architecture of the school, it's very welcoming and again shows the main school colour (Navy blue.)
The only bad thing about this photo is the timing of the cars and the plants as it covers the plaque that shows that this is the reception entrance. In addition, the bottom of the brick wall looks a little dirty which isn't going to represent the school very well.

The Library

The library is a good location as it shows knowledge that the school offers to the the students and the member of staff. It's also quite easy to take pictures here as not many people come during lesson time. The lighting is good too as there are natural lighting coming from the top window. The only bad thing I can say is that it doesn't really emphasise on the school.

The Arches in the quad

This is a lovely sight as it shows the delicate brick works which have been maintained for a very long time.
Again the blue is focused on the shot as it's the schools colour. But this area can be very busy and it'll be hard to take a picture then. Moreover it will be difficult to adjust with the natural lighting.

Which one would I choose?
I want to use the corridor or the arch in the quad as they'll be very good at emphasising the quality of the school and it'll add a mystical/mysterious effect to the image.
