English corridor:
I think that the English block corridor would be a nice location but it doesn't really show a "school" theme as much as the other locations as it fairly new, very plain and it isn't very eye catching.
Sixth Form Building:
The front of the building would be a good choice for a photo as there can be many shots taken from different angles. One with the door half open sending a message that this school is very open/welcoming. But the model could also stand underneath the award plaque which gives a message that our school is very prestigious.
Front of the school reception:
This would be a good site as it shows that it's got a school feel to it with the large blue double doors making it grand, the school plaque on both sides and the flowers making it lovely. However it's too bright and not suitable for my chosen theme.
The Main corridor:
This location would be suitable for the school theme as there are lockers, the arches and the classroom doors and windows but this wouldn't attract the audience as it's very plain and boring as a background moreover, it isn't appealing for the theme.
I have chosen to do Halloween for a spooky and mysterious theme. I will include a nice eye refreshing colour scheme. I hope to use either: the library, bell tower or the main corridors when it's empty. I think that they'll be a good sites to use as they'll add a mysterious effect to the Magazine cover and will hopefully attract peoples attention. When choosing a location we must think about the effect it'll make on the photo, the background, the props used and how the model will buy the readers attention. We will also need to include natural dark/gloomy lighting and the costume/uniform will need to be appropriate.
